Eagles Nest & NTPs

To get rid of some of the balls that have built up in the eagles nest we are going to :-

- cap the eagles nest at 38 balls
- give away 3 balls per pin (par 3's and eagles nests outside 5 feet) for the rest of the year rather than the standard 2 balls.

The pres has booked the AGM at the Pineapple Hotel, Wednesday 9th December.

BBQ 11am Before the Caboolture Game

Don't forget there is a free BBQ on before the Caboolture game on the 1st October.

11am at Centenerary Lakes Caboolture.

Big field (although we have a couple of groups getting away a bit earlier) AND it's a stroke event where you can't pick up AND it's getting dark very early SO can I please request that groups keep moving along at a reasonable pace.

You know all the old favourites - keep up with the group in front not the one behind, play ready golf - be ready when it's your shot, don't worry too much about the honour on the tee - if someone's ready have a hit, if you want to look at your putt from 4 different angles do it while the rest of the group are putting etc etc.

First game of the 2009 season will be at Virginia on the Friday 30th January at 12.30pm. Let's have a good turn out to start the year off!

You can use your handicap wherever you want until its gone.

You must decide how many strokes you are using on the hole just completed before teeing off on the next hole.

e.g. playing off 27, have a 6 on a par 4. You can do any of the following :-

a) use 3 of of your handicap strokes to have a birdie which is a +
b) use 2 of your H/C strokes to have a par which is a 0
c) use none of your H/C strokes to have a -

At the end of the day the player with the highest + balance wins (8 +'s, 2 -'s, 8 zeros = +6 total)

- Take the Sunshine Motorway exit (which is the next big one past the Caloundra turn off)
- Take the Mooloolaba Rd exit but turn left
