Next Game is Friday 22nd June 7.45am
I've been smoking the crack pipe a bit lately...the next game info in the right hand nav bar was wrong again. It was showing 3rd August which of course is the next round of the club championship not the next scheduled game. Fixed now.

At the AGM it was decided that if you couldn't play a match on the scheduled date you had to arrange to play it beforehand. Since the 1st & 2nd rounds are back to back it hasn't been possible to do that so we are allowing these matches to be played after the scheduled date, BUT THEY MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE NEXT ROUND ON THE 3RD AUGUST.
The players with an asterisk will win in the event of a non completed match since they were available to play on the scheduled date.

Handicap & POA Trophy Rules
In keeping with the social club philosophy of sharing the prizes around, in 2007 the handicapping system has been adjusted slightly so that winners are penalised one additional shot to previous years. The full handicapping rules for 2007 are :-
Handicaps are adjusted after each game based on the following :-
For playing worse than your handicap
If you received a ball in the run down, no change to handicap
If you did not receive a ball in the run down handicap will increase by 0.1 for each stroke worse than handicap to a maximum of 1.0 per game.
For playing better than your handicap
0 to 18.0 ......... 0.1 deducted for each stroke better than handicap
18.1 to 27.0 ......... 0.2 deducted for each stroke better than handicap
27.1 to 36 (45 for female members) ......... 0.4 deducted for each stroke better than handicap
For winning a game (applies to all games, 4BBB Ambrose etc.)
0 to 18 ........ 2 stroke reduction
18.1 to 27 ......... 3 stroke reduction
27.1 to 36 (45 for ladies members) ......... 4 stroke reduction (applies to all games, 4BBB Ambrose etc.)
In the event of a tie for 1st, a role of the dice (or another appropriate method) will be used to determine the ultimate winner on the day and only this person's handicap will be adjusted for winning the game.
i.e. win a prize get cut, don’t win a prize don’t get cut.
Maximum handicaps
Men 36, Ladies 45
POA Points System
POA points are awarded as follows to each player (or team, in the case of Ambrose etc.) who competes on the scheduled day. Points accumulate over each game played throughout the year. The player with highest aggregate receives the POA trophy.
Placing Points Awarded
1st 25
2nd 17
3rd 15
4th 13
5th 11
6th 10
7th 9
8th 8
9th 7
10th 6
Players on the day that are not in the first 10 placings will each receive 5 points. Should there be a tie for any placing (including first) each tied player (or team of players) will receive the points for that particular place. Thereafter, points will be awarded to the next available placing. For example, if 3 persons tie for 2nd each receives 17 points and the next placing will be 5th.
