I have talked to Downsey from Nudgee, and we have decided to play the proposed challenge match against their Thursday Club early next year. The 16th Dec is their breakup day.

We have agreed to play a challenge game against the Nudgee Thursday Club. This will most likely be the week after the AGM on Thursday 16th December.

They're all pretty good blokes so should be a good day.

I'll let you know once Longy has confirmed the date.

Brett Simpson with FORTY SEVEN points trounced the field with 2nd a mile back on 40 points.

Dinky nearly took out the eagle's nest putting his approach 1 foot outside the 5 feet required to take the cache of balls (note to handicapper, how many balls in the nest now?)

Club champs are headed to a Dot Joiner vs Trolley Pusher grudge match in the final on December 3 - Long vs McEvoy.

Two announcements for the next game.

1) there will be a bacon & egg BBQ at the club prior to teeing off.

2) It's bring a friend day so feel free to bring someone along. If you do I will draw you together, otherwise I'll randomly draw partners. Your mate doesn't have to have an AGU handicap. If they have a handicap from another social club we'll use that otherwise we'll guesstimate but please be fair.
