LAST GAME DATE CHANGE - NOW THU 5th DEC

Due to a number of circumstances, the date for last game for the year has changed to THURSDAY 5 DECEMBER.

It's a single stableford at Nudgee (North) with the first group off at  8.00am

It is the Final Round of the Club Championship  {Barry (GR81) Clarke vs  Wayne (Lakey) Lake} , Final Round of the Patrons Cup and the final POA event for the year.

The day will be sponsored by ANDREW GLEESON PLUMBING  - (thanks to Andy for his continued and generous support) so it would be nice to see a big roll up.

AGM/Trophy Night Wednesday 11th December

The AGM/Trophy Night will be at the Pineapple Hotel starting at 4.15pm on Wednesday 11 December.

Members will be charged $20 for the night which will be collected prior to the night.  If you can pay either Longy or me by the last game it would be appreciated.

We need to know by the last game if you are coming or not.

If you are coming, please let me know what you are having to eat - choices are:- (when responding See Note 1 and 2 below)

      1. Grilled Chicken Breast

     2. Grilled Snapper and chips

      3. Rump Steak

      4. T-Bone Steak

      Meals will be pre-ordered
      Meals are served with either Idaho Potatoes and vegetables or Salad and chips.
      Steaks have either mushroom, pepper or Dianne sauce.
   

      NOTE 1: When you respond please advise of your choice of vegies or salad
      NOTE 2: If you are going to have a steak, let me know when you respond how you want it cooked and what sauce you would like
   

Finally we are looking for nominations for the committee and for sponsorship for 2014 so have a think about whether you would like to get involved with the Club - if you know of anyone interested in sponsoring an event can you suss them out and get back to either Longy or myself about it.

Woodford Bus Trip Details

The Bus Trip is only a month away.

The annual social golf bus trip for 2013 has been arranged again for a day trip out to the lush, green and scenic Woodford Golf Club.


Names are now being taken for inclusion on the bus. ( Bus only holds 30 so be quick!!)

The schedule is as follows -

Only $90 for non-members (includes 10 raffle tickets!!!!)

Couple of notable achievments. 

Kerry Rasmussen chalked up game number 300 last game.

Shane McNally will reach his century and join the 100 club at Riverlakes next game.

Well done boys.

It was also good to see Doug Boyett back playingafter some health issues last year.  He must have been hitting the range though because he came back with a win.
